Reflection: A few weeks ago, I randomly came up with the idea to create a collage of all of my favorite albums as a computer case. For someone who is completely unartistic, I knew I had to follow through with this idea because ideas like this one only come to me once in a blue moon. Music is something that is really special to me and contributes to a lot of my close relationships. I thought that putting all my favorite albums on my computer case would represent who I am as a person, and it would serve as a fun ice breaker. The computer case is comparable to writing in the sense that writing is a compilation of words that shine light on the author’s personality and this case is a compilation of album covers that tell a story about my personality. Even the way I made the computer case tells a small story about how I am as a person. After I had picked out all of the albums, I printed them out. For some reason, I thought the best way to do this would be to cut out each tiny individual album one at a time and glue it on the case. Later, I realized that I should have just used a collage maker to make sets of collages that I could then print out and put on my computer. I ended up doing way more work because I was caught up in the excitement of the idea, and wanted to execute it as fast as possible. Because of this, I didn’t consider the most effective way to create this case, I just rushed into it. I ended up getting so many compliments at school and Janessa even copied me she thought it was so cool! This case is something I am very proud of because it is unlike anything else I have ever made and represents how unique I am as a person.
